Coffee and Cigarettes is a 2003 independent film directed by Jim Jarmusch. The film consists of eleven short stories which share coffee and cigarettes as a common thread. In this segment musicians Iggy Pop and Tom Waits pretend to play themselves, smoke cigarettes to celebrate that they quit smoking, drink some coffee and have an awkward conversation.
This is like an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm directed by David Lynch.

Man I miss smoking at a diner,you cant even smoke a cigarette at the bar anymore in N.J and in NYC people look at you funny when you smoke outside.And alot of this film was shot around 1993 but got released 10 years later
Iggy pop gets uglier everytime I see him
I love that sly look he gives Iggy when he says that line about kicking his smoking habit.
